Hi All, i am looking to move to Thailand. i will be working with my existing company which is not based in thailand - all work is remote, but i may need to goto clients in different countries several times a year. What would be the most appropriate visa to get?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The most appropriate visa for an individual moving to Thailand while working remotely for a non-Thailand-based employer is typically the Non Immigrant B visa, which is required to legally work in Thailand. Alternatively, if married to a Thai national, a Non Immigrant O visa could be suitable. Additionally, a multiple-entry tourist visa (METV) is suggested for those without clients in Thailand, enabling travel in and out of the country while maintaining a residence elsewhere.
If you take that literally, no employees can visit Thailand on a TR. 😅

I deleted the nomad visa discussion. Please answer the question asked. There is no Nomad visa and there is never been one.

Official to work in Thailand you need a Non Immigrant B visa or Non Immigrant O visa when married to Thai National and a Work Permit. The work permit is given by your employer.

I will not delete it. I understand that this happens, stay below every radar, never ever mention to any one you work inside Thailand. And pretend your are a tourist. There is very low enforcement on this, but it is not the official and not the most appropriate visa.

This maybe deleted but not suggesting any thing just stating what many remote workers do . No clients in Thailand . A
METV Visa will allow you to travel in and out as often as you like for min 6 months . Also assumes your salary will be paid into your own country bank
