Hello everyone,

Just another post looking for advice on entering Thailand.

I just got a 60-day TR and would like to fly in from Hong Kong. I have been here for 3 months, and before that I was in Thailand for 3 months on another TR, before that, in my home country, USA, for a year. So 90 days in the past 15 months in Thailand.

I do have 2-3 years of visas in Thailand before all of this, so I do have some history with my visits. But none of it is current.

Given this history in addition to being out of Thailand for a while, I am curious about the best way to re-enter and not have any issues of being turned away.

Fly into BKK?

Fly into CNX?

Land border? Which one? (Such a hassle from Hong Kong to any land border.)

Appreciate any advice, thanks.

Hello all,

I am in need of help/advice. I was just rejected at DMK trying to enter with a 60 day tourist visa, I'm still in holding cell. Even though I had proof of cash in excess of 20,000 b and a flight out of Thailand to KUL, I was told that because I had entered Thailand four times already and stayed approx 120 days in the first half of the year, I could not return. I was out of Thailand for two months in the USA, my home country, and China before attempting to return. I'm still not 100% sure the exact reasoning of why I was denied, except that I got a hard line IO. My question is, does a tourist visa rejection deny someone from getting another type of visa, say ED, volunteer, or spousal dependent and entering Thailand?
