Hi again All...just checking before I book my return ticket to Thailand from Ireland. I will be getting a 30 day visa exemption but hope to get an extension onto that while I'm there. Is that easy to do and what is the max extension I could apply for ?

Thank you in advance for any advice given.

Hi.

Short question. If i arrived with the Visa on arrival can I apply for the Special Tourist Visa in Thailand after that? Or is it then just the 30 day extension?

Thank you!

# How to visit Thailand every ~2 months for a year?

I think I may want to get Invisalign treatment in Bangkok, which requires coming in for dentist appointments every ~2 months. But I want to be able to travel to other countries in between those appointments.

Could I use the "visa exemption" to enter Thailand ~6 times in a year, if I'm flying in and out? (I'm from the USA.) Or what about Tourist Visas? Are those limited per year?

I know a Thai Elite visa would let me enter and exit many times, but it's a bit expensive...

Any other ideas? (I'm not married to a Thai person or retirement age yet. I work online, not for a Thai company. I'd love to learn the Thai language on an education visa, but I've heard it requires your ongoing presence in the country during that year, and I want to travel internationally a lot. Could it be done with volunteer visa or others?)

Thank you!!
