Hello! I got my Thai 60 days e-visa a few hours after entering the Country. My 30 days on arrival are almost finish. Could I do Ranong Visa run and use my e-visa to enter? ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking if they can use their e-visa to re-enter Thailand after a visa run from Ranong, following the expiration of their 30-day on-arrival stamp. Comments suggest that it's possible to use the e-visa for re-entry, as long as the e-visa is printed out and presented at the border. Additional advice includes verifying the current status of the Ranong border crossing, which has become more complicated post-COVID, requiring proof of funds, accommodation, and exit travel.

and I only wanted to let this on to remind people Ranong isn't the border it was pre-covid sh*t show, AND to let people know you CAN bounce out and back to activate an eVisa,
Good luck to the O/P

you might as well take the 30 day stamp you have now and even a 30 day extension at the immigration office for 1900baht if you wanted to.
Even a single entry tourist eVisa is valid for 3 months from the date they issue it, so no problem staying on the stamp you have now and THEN bouncing out and back to activate that eVisa entry

you could, just print out the eVisa PDF they emailed you and present it when you go to stamp back in to the country.
keep in mind that Ranong border crossing by boat with Kawthoung is not as easy or trouble free as it used to be. You have to show proof of 20K baht or the equivalent in CASH, you have to show proof of lodging for the time you'll get stamped in and you have to show proof you're flying OUT of thailand when your stamp is up.
It is NOT a user friendly border crossing anymore.
Unfortunately this isn't a group about where you can cross, so I will leave it to you to post on a group related to where you stay in thailand and ask about it
