Hello. on the website of the Thai consulate in Vientiane it is written that visas are issued after two business days, not counting the day on which the application is submitted. An example is given, submitting the application on Monday morning, receiving it on Wednesday afternoon. Apply on Friday morning, pick up on Tuesday afternoon. My question is, does it ever happen that the visa is ready earlier? I'm asking about this because someone wrote in another thread that the visa can be collected the next afternoon.

Anyone had experience applying for tourist visa in Kuala Lumpur, how long does it take for the application? Is it applying in the morning and able to get it in the next day afternoon? Thank you all !

Does anyone know if my spouse has to come with me when picking up the visa?

She got lucky and got an appointment for the vaccination, that she can't move.

Do you know if you can come in and pick it up a day later or earlier?

If I am applying for the NON O multiple entry visa based on marriage at Savannekhet can I hand the application in on Monday morning and collect Tuesday ?

Is the system like the old system in Laos where you get a number and they start handing back the visa at 1pm ?

Just trying to plan flights.

I'd appreciate some advice on applying for my second tourist visa in Kuala Lumpur ( I've been advised it would be better than Penang). As far as I know the application needs to be put in before 11am and then collected (hopefully) the following morning- or is it afternoon?

Basically i'm wondering about my flight booking- If I leave on the Monday, put the application in on the Tuesday could I still catch the 12pm flight on the Wednesday?

I'm sure there are many out there that have been in this situation, please advise :)
