Hey everyone ! How was your experience entering Thailand through BKK airport with an approved DTV for remote worker ? Any particular documentation requested to provide to the officers printed or on your phone?

Thanks all! 🙏

Just came through BKK on the DTV. UK passport and DTV was issued in London last November. Issued under remote work as I work for a UK company. This was my 10th DTV stamp and I’ve never been asked for proof of anything on entry. I have all the documents I used to apply in a folder on my laptop just incase but haven’t ever had anything more than a smile, stamp and thank you.

Just cos I know there have been mixed reports lately!

ORIGINAL POSTER
Second entry into Thailand report.

After being in Thailand for 3 weeks, I went to Siem Reap for 2 and then returned through Don Mueang Airport (first entry was Suvarnabhumi). Easy as can be. No questions from IO - in fact I don't think she said anything other than hello and goodbye to me.

I know people have been saying they've had issues entering in Phuket but I just went through immigration in Phuket. No issues at all! Took less than 5 minutes. Even had a laugh with the officer who served me. First time entering on my DTV! I will be going in and out of Bangkok a lot for the rest of the year so will keep you updated.
