TLDR : Answer Summary
For UK passport holders, you can initially get 60 days upon arrival in Thailand. To extend your stay by an additional 30 days, you have a couple of options: go to a local immigration office and pay around 1900 baht for the extension, or you can leave Thailand and quickly re-enter (by visiting a nearby country) to gain another 30 days. Also, you might consider obtaining a 60-day tourist visa before you travel, which can be extended for another 30 days upon arrival.
You go to immigration after your arrival and get a 30 day extension. At the moment you get 60 days on arrival but by next year that may not be the case. So you need to keep an eye on it and get a 60 day tourist visa (maybe get one anyway to be safe, its not expensive) which you can also extend by 30 days after you arrive.

Get a visa before you travel or definitely fly Nearest country to re stamp your visa. Local immigration is very hard work unless you speak Thai or have a agent which cost you more
yes then 60 back in as long as you haven’t done it too many times all depends how long you’re staying for if you were going to stay for six months then you could get a six month multi entry where you have to leave the country every 60 days or get a 30 day extension UK passport holder £150. I done mine last week took three days to come back. 👍
