I'm still pending approval for my DTV I submitted on the 6th of March, through the Thai Embassy in Canberra, Australia.

I'm Australian.

My flight into Thailand is supposed to be on the 24th of March, I read that most people were getting approved within 10 days.

Does it seem likely I will get a response this week?

Paying it forward (thanks all):

Approved from the Thai Embassy Canberra, Australia - Workation category.

Documents submitted:

- Cover letter explaining business and nature of my work.

- Screenshot of Google Search results of my business

- Screenshot of my work portfolio

- Most recent invoice

- Profit and Loss statement

- Balance sheet

- Australian Business Registration certificate

Financials

- Cover letter explaining net worth

- Bank statements verifying letter

My thoughts:

- Make it easy; embassy staff don't wanna decode your unexplainable waffle of documents. Number the subsequent pages in your cover letter and explain their reasoning/purpose.

- The nature of the visa is discretionary, so build an image of your entite situation as if you're building a legal case (as you are, in many regards)

- Meaningful proof is the most important. You can't fake a strong online presence or a long-lasting business registration.

- Use an online tool to condense and compile your PDFs
