I'm still pending approval for my DTV I submitted on the 6th of March, through the Thai Embassy in Canberra, Australia.

I'm Australian.

My flight into Thailand is supposed to be on the 24th of March, I read that most people were getting approved within 10 days.

Does it seem likely I will get a response this week?

You can call Canberra embassy and enquire once the fourteen days they mention in their pop up has passed. They will just give you a canned answer along the lines of “it’s in the queue and it will be seen when it’s your turn” or whatever, but both times we have done that, the application progressed the same or next day. I think making contact does prompt them to look even though they don’t say so.

I applied on 3 March.

Received a request for further information on 12 March.

Approved 13 March.

Applied yesterday for spouse and 2 dependents that was approved today.

If you've already responded to their request for more info you might hear back tomorrow 🤞🏻

they've requested money proof of $24k and I already submitted that and payslips, so I'm not sure what else they're asking for

DTV_BegPecker I read a lot online on Facebook and Reddit that being the average and also cos my flight date to Thailand was within 3 weeks it should get approved no worries. It looked like people with a fly date way ahead of they application submission date weren't getting accepted until within 2 weeks of the fly to Thailand date anyways - if that makes sense

each embassy takes a different amount of time. The embassies in Southeast Asia tend to be 10 days, have not seen anyone saying that for Australia
