Not sure if this has been asked before as I can’t find with search.

If my DTV is approved can I apply do motorbike lessons and get a Thai motorbike licence? I do not have a motorbike licence from my home country as I have never needed one at home.

As a DTV holder has anyone successfully purchased Motorbike Insurance? I’m told that as it is still categorised as a “Tourist Visa” that Insurance companies may not insure!🙏👍 also I’ve only held my Thai Motorbike License for less than one year.

Hi All.

I want to do a motorbike (for scooter only not for big bikes) licence in Thailand. I don't have any driving licence. The questions are the following:

If I'm spending 3 months in Thailand can I do this?

Can I get a Residence Certificate if I'm staying in a hotel and not renting a condo?

I want to do this next January and o can't find answers for this 2 questions.
