TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses recommendations for health insurance companies in Thailand, particularly for expats. Commenters suggest various options, such as Dhipaya Insurance, AIA, and Pacific Cross, with prices typically around 30,000 baht per year. There are insights into specific policies available, including mention of cheaper plans and those requiring coverage for visa applications, like the Non-O visa. Additionally, some users recommend contacting independent agents like Seek 2 Insure for personalized advice and comparisons.

. I recommended them to many clients and they were happy with him.
Speak to Darren and he can give you a legit advice on which plan/company is the best fit for you. They are independent agent who don’t work for any specific company so they can compare different plans of various companies for you to decide, depending on your budget and coverage you want to get.

There's an insurance plan covering most health expenses at charge at 1M coverage that should falls within your budget. You can also add extra daily compensation and critical illness insurance plan of your own choices.

Are you looking for a policy for someone already residing in Thailand, or a policy that meets the requirements to get the COE to enter Thailand? That makes a big difference in your options.
and you obviously don't need insurance, except when some shit happens and you really do need it

Ian Hay. That's what I can't figure out. I have insurance, but it seems there are people will go to extreme lengths not to have it. I'm confused with it
it actually depends on the plan you choose and the coverage u want ka. I performed a rough calculation based on the info (69 yrs old) with just life insurance and in patient plan. Usually they will be other riders (hospital indemnity, critical illness, accident) attached.. so the fees may go up.
I am currently working as part-time AIA agent so please feel free to let me know if I can be of any help naka.
