TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation reveals various options for obtaining insurance required for the Thailand Pass, highlighting key providers such as AXA Thailand, FWD, Arawan, MSIG, and others. Many commenters recommend AXA for prompt service and comprehensive coverage, while others mention their experiences with different companies, including credit card benefits that cover travel insurance. The necessity for insurance coverage to meet specific requirements, including COVID-19 coverage, is emphasized, alongside potential pitfalls to watch out for when using foreign insurance providers.

I used Allianz Travel Insurance. Good everywhere, and for many other travel needs, one year policy, and lots cheaper. Just needed a letter from Allianz, stating it covered COVID for $20,000. One phone call and it was provided very easily.

I used the travel insurance policy that's with my Revolut card - for EUR7.50 a month its pretty cheap for Europeans who don't typically have US credit card options. Was accepted both times so far.

Well i just got some insurance from UK, decent and cheap at £130.00 for 3 months BUT to get the Thai Pass you need a concise document with info all there (coverage ampunt $

+, counties covered, mention of covid cover, name. BUT my insurance sent me 4 pdfs of various lengths none of which had all that info! Sp be careful, ive now got to call them and ask for a cover page containing the relevant info. If npt ill use a basic covid coverage from the one listed in the above comments....

As per the new rules, ATK test is not needed on arrival in Thailand's airport. We just need to show our Thailand pass's hard copy at the immigration as well as the hard copy of insurance at the airport amd we're good to go, right?
