Hi I'm planning to go to Thailand from vietnam.

I was wondering what was the difference between Thai E-Visa and Thailand pass registration.

I know it might sound dumb but I'm not good at filling paperwork

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thai E-Visa and Thailand Pass serve different purposes and both are required for entry into Thailand. The E-Visa is for obtaining a visa before travel, while the Thailand Pass is a registration portal that generates a QR code related to your vaccination status, insurance, and travel details. Everyone, including Thai citizens, needs the Thailand Pass, which replaced the earlier Certificate of Entry (COE).

sorry, just saw your questions. I don't remember exactly, believe it was $800 US, but they have an instruction sheet that tells you exactly. That's for the eVisa.

It was easy, the girl at the embassy told me exactly what i needed, even sent me an email letting me know the pic of my bank balance needed to show my name on the account. Emailed that to her. 2 days later she let me know my passport was ready to pick up. Good luck

No difference, they are completely unrelated. eVisa is for applying for visas. Thailand Pass is an application portal that produces a QR code related to your flights, insurance, quarantine package and vaccination status.

Everyone needs Thaipass, even Thai people. If you need a visa then you apply for that also.
