I tried to make an appointment for apply DTV in Ho Chi Min-Vietnam but there’s no slots available has anyone had the same issue? Is there any another way to make an appointment?
*Please note that this embassy has no more online appointments and I have been told they are moving to Evisa in October, but...
This was such an incredibly easy process.
I submitted:
-Application form filled in with photo attached (to save time, have it stuck on already)
-6 months bank statements showing more than 500,000 Baht
-Cover letter introducing how I make money online (I have an online teaching brand and sell digital courses / consulting)
-Resume
-Screenshots of website, YT channel and digital offers.
-Stripe transitions for August/ Sept 2024
-2 Invoices from clients
-Lease in Bangkok
-HCMC airbnb booking
-$340 (exact change)
They took everything, so not sure if I over-submitted or not.
The only hiccup was the USD cash. I had "new" notes but they weren't new enough. I had to take a grab bike to their recommended exchange shop where they easily switched my USD for newer bills for a charge of about 100k Dong for Each $100. If in doubt, just go to the exchange place and double check. The guy who helped me knew exactly what I needed and could tell which bills would be accepted or not.
The turnaround was exactly 2 days and I spent less than 30 minutes there to submit and less than 1 minute to pick up.
Good luck to everyone! This visa is definitely too good to be true, so a good idea to get it if/before anything changes.
