Hello! I've currently been on a DTV visa for over a year now. Prior I was on a ED visa. I am now 4 months pregnant. My partner is Thai so my baby will have thai citizenship. Has anyone had any experience switching to a Non O parent/guardian visa from a dtv? My current entry is valid July which is almost my due date. So trying to plan ahead for best course of action. I know I cant apply until the baby is born and birth certificate is available but with entry expiration same as my due date will I be able to apply for medical extension or fly out before hand? Says the process is about 15days is that reality or suggestion? Any advice would be great!
I would like to get an acknowledgment from people who had experience with a DTV based on medical treatment.
Anyone knows what are the exact documents need to be submitted for a Medical DTV - my partner is pregnant and we are planning to give birth in Thailand.
Hello! We are coming to Thailand early November. The plan is to come out on the 60 tourist visa from Australia, then within the 60 days swap over to an education visa for 6/12 months as my husband will be enrolling in a language school. My only concern is I'll be 7 months pregnant on arrival and worried I won't be allowed in the country as my due date is when the tourist visa ends. Is this likely to happen?? Thanks 🙂
