I would like to get an acknowledgment from people who had experience with a DTV based on medical treatment.
Anyone knows what are the exact documents need to be submitted for a Medical DTV - my partner is pregnant and we are planning to give birth in Thailand.

TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for a Medical DTV (Thai visa for medical purposes), you will typically need to prepare several key documents. Commonly required items include:
1. A medical certificate detailing the diagnosis and current condition, along with a doctor's note recommending treatment in Thailand.
2. A hospital appointment letter confirming the date and purpose of treatment.
3. A treatment plan including steps, duration, and estimated costs.
4. Proof of financial stability, such as a bank statement showing a minimum balance of 500,000 THB.
Additional documents may be requested by the embassy, including a Thai affidavit from the clinic and identity verification such as a copy of your identity card. It is also advisable to provide proof of ongoing care and to have appointments set up with a recognized medical facility.
If you’re applying for a DTV (Medical Purpose), here are the core documents normally required 👇
1. Medical Certificate
– Diagnosis + current condition
– Doctor’s note recommending treatment in Thailand
2. Hospital Appointment Letter
– Confirmed date + purpose of treatment
3. Treatment Plan & Estimated Cost
– Treatment steps
– Duration
– Cost breakdown
4. Financial Proof
– Bank statement showing minimum 500,000 THB balance
These are the key items the embassy typically checks for medical-based DTV applications.
Hope this helps 😊

I don't think the fact that your partner is pregnant will have any infuence on your DTV process, at least pregnancy is not a soft power DTV option.
You speak about partner, when you are not married, both of you need to have an own reason for DTV.

Apart from the documents listed in the application and those listed by other commenters, the embassy also requested Thai affidavit from my clinic (applied under dental treatment for braces) as well as a copy of the front and back of my identity card. I’m a Singaporean and applied in Singapore.

Typically you need to provide proof of ongoing care, diagnosis, treatment plan, at a recognized medical facility with appointments set up for the next 6 months at least.
