2nd 60 Day Extension

Dear all, I am currently in the Amnesty till 29/01/2021. I am planning to extend it once again for another 60 days.

So I just wonder If I need to wait till the last few days to go to CW or I can already go apply for it now please? Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The original poster is seeking advice on when to apply for a second 60-day extension of stay related to COVID-19 amnesty, which they believe extends until January 29, 2021. Responses indicate that the amnesty actually ended in October, and the poster may have received an extension due to COVID-19. Comments mention that different immigration offices have varying rules regarding the start date of extensions, with suggestions to check specific policies and to make an online booking before visiting.

The amnesty expired back in October. It sounds like you got a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19.

Different immigration offices have different policies. Some start it from the date you get the stamp, some start that extension at the end of the current extension. I believe Tod Daniels made a post yesterday saying that Bangkok Immigration starts that extension of stay on the date you get the extension.

sorry, my bad. And yes, I am in the 60 days extension of stay due to COVID. Thanks a lot for the post. So if I go now, the 2nd extension will start counting from today? And any idea if they are to reject my application, do they do it during the 1st appointment/ application day or during the 2nd appointment, I e, the day I need to go back to close the loop?

If they reject your request for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, they would reject it during your first appointment. I *NEVER* heard of anyone being rejected during the stamp close out.

Thank you. I tried looking for it, but my connection was slow and it wouldn't load.
