If I want to show as many funds as possible, just to make my approval chances higher, how it may work if I have 2 banks and savings divided between them?

Can I submit 2 statements and cover letter explaining the whole sum recalculated into THB? (Please leave a comment if yoy have done it this way).

Or will it be better to transfer and accumulate all my funds in 1 bank?

Planning to apply for a medical DTV. I have made an appointment with a reputable hospital in Bangkok and I can get a letter from them.

My question is about continued medical treatment. What will I need to show while in Thailand and on future entries. Thank You!

Hi everyone, I’m applying for the Thailand DTV Visa this Monday and I have a question about the financial requirement.

Right now my savings account shows about 521,000 THB. Until a few minutes ago it was 406,000 THB, but I just added 115,000 THB.

I work remotely as a software developer for a Turkish company and my monthly salary is about 92,000 THB, which is paid into another bank account.

The issue is that I haven’t had 500,000 THB in my savings account for the past 3 months β€” I’ve been adding roughly 70,000 THB each month and only now reached 521,000 THB.

Will this be a problem for my DTV Visa application, or will my income plus current balance be enough?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Agent recommendations in Hua Hin? πŸ™πŸ»πŸ†

Situation: Changing from business visa to retirement visa. Meet all the requirements, got the bank funds etc, got all the paperwork, confident could easily do it myself.

But .. always nice to not have to wait in every line and get possibly hassled about every 'discretionary' detail. Take a nice agent friend have it all go smooth.

Thanks for sharing resources that you found useful!☺️

Has anyone been asked to attend the DTV interview in person in Bangkok? Is this even a thing?

Since I live in thailand, my YouTube subscription has been cancelled, as they noticed I was using an european YT plan in thailand.

I tried to subsribe to a thai YouTube plan, but impossible to pay with a foreign payment method.

So what are the options?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,

I am looking for official translation agencies to help translate my bank staments from Chinese to English.

Googled a few that seem professional.

For the folks who translated their documents with an agency, could you please recommended the agency you used?

Many thanks!!! πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

After living in Thailand for two years, i am expecting to transfer 1m THB per year of my personal pension into Thailand.

The UK will tax this amount (including national insurance) by approximately 10% ie 100,000 THB.

What tax would I need to pay on this money when transferred into Thailand?
