Do I need to attend a DTV interview in person in Bangkok?
Has anyone been asked to attend the DTV interview in person in Bangkok? Is this even a thing?
Answer summary
The consensus among community responses is that attending a DTV interview in person in Bangkok is not a requirement, as the DTV visa must be applied for from outside Thailand. Interviews are typically conducted at the embassy where the application is submitted.

Definitely not a real thing. Interview would only happen at the embassy you applied. Obviously not in Thailand.

Never as the DTV is not issued within Thailand.

You will never be asked to do so as you have to apply from abroad and can't be in Thailand. They may contact you for an interview in the country you apply.

You cannot apply for DTV while you are in Thailand. You must exit the country.
So the answer to your question is NO.
