Planning to apply for a medical DTV. I have made an appointment with a reputable hospital in Bangkok and I can get a letter from them.
My question is about continued medical treatment. What will I need to show while in Thailand and on future entries. Thank You!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a medical DTV visa in Thailand, it's essential to provide a treatment plan along with appointment confirmations. Although proof of ongoing treatment may not be thoroughly checked at border crossings, it is crucial for extending your stay. A letter from the hospital alone may not suffice, as immigration might require more detailed information about your health condition.
For your initial application, you will need to show the treatment plan with ongoing appointments. From other accounts, they might want to see the health issue listed (kind of intrusive). A letter from the hospital/doctor isn’t enough

You’ll need to show proof of ongoing treatment when extending your stay in Thailand with immigration. This is however not seriously checked, for now, when crossing the border again. Keep in mind that this is subject to change (or not), and no one can guarantee it will remain the same for the entire length of your visa.
