Hi everyone, I’m applying for the Thailand DTV Visa this Monday and I have a question about the financial requirement.
Right now my savings account shows about 521,000 THB. Until a few minutes ago it was 406,000 THB, but I just added 115,000 THB.
I work remotely as a software developer for a Turkish company and my monthly salary is about 92,000 THB, which is paid into another bank account.
The issue is that I haven’t had 500,000 THB in my savings account for the past 3 months — I’ve been adding roughly 70,000 THB each month and only now reached 521,000 THB.
Will this be a problem for my DTV Visa application, or will my income plus current balance be enough?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the financial requirement for their Thailand DTV Visa application, particularly since they have only just reached the necessary balance of 521,000 THB in their savings account. They want to know if their current balance and their remote monthly income of 92,000 THB will suffice for the application, especially since they haven't maintained the required balance for the past three months. Responses indicate varying requirements from embassies, with some only needing the final balance and others requiring a consistent balance over three months.
