Hi. Anyone tried to apply for DTV from the Embassy in Denmark 🇩🇰?

Anonymous as it's a public group! I'm planning to apply for the DTV soft power in Laos. I understand that they always do interviews. I'm married to a Thai citizen. Will they, perhaps, ask why I don't get a marriage visa? If so, how would I justify this to them? (My reasons are that I can work remotely legally, it lasts 5 years, and that I want the flexibility of not always being in Thailand but still being able to return at any point. I don't think I want to live in Thailand forever though so not thinking of the PR route!)

Just a question, what paper work do i need to take for a 90 day report as i need to once at the end of the month

Is anyone successful in opening a thai bank account in chiang mai . With DTV workation . My thai insurance company wants a local bank account in my name to process the health insurance claim .

Is the 65000 measured in 12 monthly payments. I m asking as my September payment went through Wise as a domestic payment and then my account was BBK account was Frozen. Is it okay to make a new payment into my new account even though there’ll be 2 separate payments in October? Thanks

Another banking question. I opened a bank account at Kasikorn Bank on ED visa 3 years ago. Now since 1 year on DTV visa. My ATM card got hacked (some unauthorized transactions), so I had to cancel it.

Now if I want a new card I have to go with my passport to the branch and order a new one. Will I wake a sleeping dragon if I do that, now that I am on DTV or it's no problem with Kasikorn Bank?

I checked already, I can put cash into my account with just my account number at the cash ATMs. QR is also still working, online transfers into my account as well.

But what if I need a new card, or change my phone number?

UPDATE: we've had to go sponsor route. Even more document requirements.

Does anyone know time frame you have to upload the additional documents requested? It will take me 2 weeks to get one of the docs. Thank you!

do soft power applicants often get rejected? if you have the 500,000 baht and a letter from the business you’ll be studying at, is there a high chance you’ll be accepted?

Hello all. I am applying for the DTV at the London consulate under Muay Thai using the 9 months training package from FitFac. Have anyone used this gym before? Can you please share your experience? Is it worth paying the extra 4990THB for the Visa application assistant service they provide?

Has anyone crossed the border by train from Vientiane to Nong Khai?

I will be in Vientiane for a couple days next week and booked a train back to Bangkok. Seen some travelers do this on YouTube and figured I’d give it a try.

I know some anonymous posters were not allowed to cross over from Laos on foot. Just wondering what the process is like.

I’m assuming it will be a smooth process of showing them my visa and getting my stamp lol
