Do I need to show 65,000 Baht in monthly payments over 12 months for my visa? And can I make multiple payments in one month after my account was frozen?
Is the 65000 measured in 12 monthly payments. I m asking as my September payment went through Wise as a domestic payment and then my account was BBK account was Frozen. Is it okay to make a new payment into my new account even though thereโll be 2 separate payments in October? Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement is to show a consistent monthly income of 65,000 Baht for each of the previous 12 months to qualify for the visa using the monthly income method. If a payment is missed, it cannot be compensated by making a larger payment in another month. Additionally, concerns have been raised about using Wise for transfers, specifically that they are now often categorized incorrectly as domestic payments, which can lead to issues with frozen accounts. Alternatives for transferring funds to meet proof of funds requirements may incur higher fees.
And as I was afraid, this thread devolved into a "problems moving money via WISE" thread, and how you move your money here to meet proof of funds via monthly transfer is NOT anything to do with visas/extensions etc. .. ... ๐
You wanna talk about using WISE to move money go to the WISE Thailand group I linked to
Best of luck to everyone and the O/P as well

I had the same exact same happened to me so I made a deposit to Siam Commercial Bank account which means I will have to show up with two different banks statements, both certified, in order to qualify by the $65,000 Baht monthly method. Now that wise is no longer able to directly deposit Baht into Thailand accounts from overseas originations, the only avenues left are very expensive. The fees I experienced were 3% and when I went to Wise, who does Swift transfers, this week I was told that I cannot use them for conversion to Baht from other currencies. They are not licensed by the Bank of Thailand for this type of transaction. It is my assumption, be careful when you assume!, that the limited channels that are licensed to convert other currencies into Baht will all be a similar hit on the exchange rate of 3%. When I run out the numbers it is too small advantage to use the monthly method now that Wise is no longer able to directly transfer funds from overseas. What used to be a $16 hit(wise non-Swift) on roughly $2,000 USD to be converted into 65,000 Baht has zoomed into about $80 fees when the reduced exchange rate is taken into account via Swift. So until I hear somebody gets a cheaper way to move $65,000 baht into an account directly from overseas, I'm going to be using the $800,000 baht deposit method.

You need to have 65K baht per month, each month, every month for the previous 12 months to use monthly income by international transfer method for proof of funds.
You can't miss a month and then make up for it on another month by doubling up. Unfortunately there's no wiggle room on that rule ๐
That's the problem with Wise, it's a cheap way to move money BUT many people are getting caught out with it now showing domestic transfer rather than international
You can go to the Wise Thailand group to talk about it, moving money here is beyond the purview of this group sorry
