Hi!!

I am currently in Germany and have applied for the DTV visa. However, I would prefer not to wait for the approval in Germany. My plan is to travel to Thailand in the next few days under the visa exemption scheme. Once the DTV visa is approved, I would then travel to a neighboring country such as Vietnam or Cambodia, and re-enter Thailand a few days later—this time using the DTV visa.

Would this be possible?

Summary so far

A user in Germany expressed their intention to travel to Thailand under the visa exemption scheme while waiting for DTV visa approval. They plan to re-enter Thailand with the DTV visa after traveling to a neighboring country. Various comments caution against this plan, highlighting the risks of jeopardizing the DTV application by traveling before approval.

It's only possible if you want to risk your DTV application being refused. You should stay where you are until the process completes
