If you don't take a single or multi re entry when on retirement visa .Then you decide you want to leave. For a trip back home or a unexpected death in family can you still leave without losing visa status . Thanks

What are some things you have noticed that have taken off in the last few years as 'fads' or current 'hip trends' in Thailand?... I will start:

1. Korean Chicken wings

1. Budweiser

1. Salmon

Can anyone help to guide how to take a number for visa extension please? I heard it's easy if I have number or need to queue for long?

Hello! Does anyone know if I can apply for non-immigrant type O (on the basis of being a spouse) via the E visa website without my Thai husband having a Thai ID card? He has a copy of his Thai birth certificate and tabien baan, and expired Thai passport.

I can’t seem to get hold of the London embassy to ask them and I don’t want to pay the fee if the Thai ID is an absolute must for obtaining the visa.

(For context: he will apply for his Thai ID card when we get to Thailand. It’s not possible to do at the embassy here because the first ID card must be issued in Thailand).

Also, would I really need to provide a DBS certificate and medical certificate? I struggled to check this info online. I’m assuming I’d need to pay a GP to issue a medical certificate… has anyone been through this process before and could possibly share some tips?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, can anyone tell me if the Ranong to Myanmar crossing is operational at the moment? Do I just show up, and negotiate with the boat owners? What is the going rate to use an agent? Any agent recommendations? Thank you 🙏

Hi, all. New to the group. Apologies if this has already been covered.

Planning to leave Australia for six months from mid-April to mid-October. A couple of years ago, I got the 60 day tourist visa to enter Thailand and then extended for another 30 days. No problems.

I am planning to go to Vietnam for a couple of weeks, probably around the end of the 90 days.

I would like to go back to Thailand, from Vietnam, on another 60 day tourist visa and then extend with another 30 day extension to get me through to mid-October.

Is there anything to stop me from doing this? Is there a certain amount of time I have to be out of Thailand, after the first 90 days, before I can go back in on another 60 day tourist visa?

Thanks in advance for any advice related to this. 🙏
