Hi. I'm retired this year and would like to stay in Thailand. I want to make a combination of 9 months Thailand and 3 months Belgium to see my kids. June, July and August I would be gone. I can prove I have 65.000 Baht every month but I not have the 800K to put in a bank. What kind of visum should I ask?

Thanks, Mario Belgium

Hey everyone! I have a question, have anyone with a few border runs did an entry from Kedah, Malaysia to Dannok, Thailand? If so, did you encounter any issue? Appreciate much for the informations ahead. Cheers.

I unlocked advanced features of TrueMoney using my DTV, so I can make personal QR code payments. Does anyone know if there’s a limit on the number of free payments each month?

Statement Question;

I have a Mercury business account and stripe, of which most of the money I spend day to day is in here. Can this be used as the ‘6 month of statements’?

Secondly, is the best place to do it via Vietnam. I’m currently in 🇨🇳

Would be great to connect with someone who’s done it before

Hi guys, in terms of the 500k and proof of funds.

Is it safe to give them a statement complete with the Account number, IBAN number etc.

Especially in light of all the frauds and scams going around these days.

Also, do they require a PDF document or will a scanned photo of a paper statement do them?

Thanks

Hi everyone 👋

I’m currently in Hanoi and I want to submit my DTV (workcation) application today. I have a quick question about the “proof of funds”:

• Revolut account, last 3 months of statements. If I export all transactions, it’s 62 pages !

• Do the official monthly statements (1–2 pages each) in English showing my name + period + end-of-month balance ≥ 500,000 THB suffice?

• Or do they need all transaction pages?

Any recent experiences would be super helpful—thanks a lot 🙏

I have my 500k+ in the Fidelity Cash Management (Individual) account. It works just like a checking account (has debit card, bank statements, etc) but is technically in money market fund earning interest. Will I have any issues when applying for the DTV?

Hi Everyone!

Can anyone share some suggestions or experiences about applying for the DTV Soft Power Visa under the Muay Thai program in Hanoi?

Did you include any work-related documents in your application?

I submitted mine on the 3/11 as others, but unfortunately, I received the email it was rejected on Today.

Here’s what I attached:

• Muay Thai enrollment documents

• My Vietnam stay information

• My financial bank statement

I’m wondering if the reason for the rejection was because I didn’t include any work-related documents.

Laos embassy DTV approval

Hello I got my DTV approved in Vientiane a few days ago through a Muay Thai course.

I went to pay the 10.000 baht one day. Went there 10 mins before the embassy opened and I was out in like 10 mins. The same day I paid the fee I got the email with the date for the interview, it took 5 days.

The interview was very fast, 5 mins. They asked to see my bank account app, to see the payment for the DTV course ( I paid with credit card so I showed the receipt). I brought a letter from the Muay Thai gym as well.

The same day I got an email with the DTV approved.

I stayed in Vientiane for a week for the visa but I'd recommend just paying for the visa and going to other parts of laos (vang vieng or luang prabang) and to go back with the train for the interview, Vientiane is kinda boring for 7 days.

Other than that all good
