Hi everyone!

I know it’s much easier to just do a border bounce, but does anyone know the current requirements for extending the DTV visa in Koh Phangan, Koh Samui or Surat Thani?

I’m traveling with my infant and feeling too lazy to go abroad right now, so I’d love to try the extension route first if possible.

Has anyone successfully done it recently? Any tips or updates would be super appreciated!

Is this true?? Also I am a lodger here in the uk so don't have utility bills in my name so how do I get a tourist visa if needed ? Thanks for any advice 🙏 also I do have my driving license which has my marital address on it still so a copy of that would be ok I guess.

I’m planning the DTV Soft Power visa and trying to figure out the best place to apply. Which city is the easiest right now with no “seasoning” requirement for the 500k? I was thinking Ho Chi Minh, but open to changing if another embassy is smoother.

If anyone’s done it recently, would love to know which city is the most straightforward and not picky about how long the money has been sitting there. ( Will have it for about 3weeks by then)

Thanks a lot.

Has anyone applied for the DTV in Thailand and then left and come back to activate it? I probably won’t do this, but wondering if anyone has had success. Since I’m already here would just save a lot of time and money. I know there’s a risk that they ask for all my passport pages or proof of flights, etc.. I’m just wondering if anyone else has done it.

My friend applied outside the country but then came here and got approved while here and it was fine. She just left on a border run and stamped back in with six month DTV yesterday.

Hey all, I’m heading to Hanoi on Monday and was hoping to find out if bank statements can be a few days old by the time I submit them? I prepared all my documents last night hoping that I can send them in soon after I land in Vietnam.

Appreciate any help, thank you ~
