That said hospital wanted to do a full prostatectomy...after I went to complain of not being able to urinate ...one ultra sound and I was added if I have the money they can do it tomorrow...I did not feel right about how quickly he came to a diagnosis and as quickly talking about money . I returned home to Canada...and after many ct scans , ultrasound and mri , they found a large cancer tumour pushing against my urethra blocking my peeing ...I had a 12 hour surgery ...to remove it after many consultants of cancer surgeons ....

If I had gone for the quick conclusion of enlarge prostate ...I would be dead today

My only advise ..yes , broken bones , flu etc ...go to that hospital ....but never take them seriously...on serious health matters ...get another opinion

"Peaceful in Thailand"...is a grave , retirement in thailand is very different. Everyone is different ,as you can see from the answers. Peaceful exists in your mind ..and where you choose to enjoy

That is really up to you ..mountains, beach, city, restaurants, cafes, necessary living accommodations, is all available in thailand .

One's Peaceful is another's hell . Mentally at peace...can be anywhere ,but anywhere is not going to bring you peace in thailand ...there will always be down sides to where ever you go ..there is always a backstage in life ..front stage only a brief show ,

@ᘻᗅᖶᖶᗁᕦᙛ ******
thats international law ...everytime you fill out a immigration card ...it ask you to declare if you are travelling with more than $10,000 usd. Any more than 10,000 you must declare it and you have to prove where you got the money ..and show its legality. It has to do with money laundering. ... so by law you may travel with under $10,000 usd..or declare it if it more ... or they can seize anything not declared

As long as its not more than $10,000 usd. Just change it at any bank or exchange ....and take it with you

Am I missing something....the strength of the baht as a currency ...and the exchange rate are two complete different things. The value of the baht is set by the trade markets . The exchange rates are set by the banks or exchange business. Tourist or no tourist might affect the value of the baht ...but the exchange rates ??? How in hell ?
