just remember make sure take enough thai baht with you, or other currency as I struggled to find a atm, if there was any? most places will take thai baht but try to give you back loas kip remember this is a worthless currency outside loas and cant be exchanged so try to get rid of it if you can and don't go changing to much. around the embassy I found they give you change in thai baht which is good. but id get 35 usd for the visa as it works out a little more expensive if you pay in other currencies. but that's up to you.
