My wife and I are out of the Thailand. I left with a retirment extension on a non-imm type O. It will expre by the time we return. I've got the required minimum depost already. How should I apply for a marrirage visa ? Should I just do it when we return, or get another O or OA visa before returning? Thanks for your help and advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to apply for a marriage visa in Thailand after their retirement extension (non-O) expires while they are currently outside the country. It is suggested that the marriage visa should be applied for from outside Thailand, as one can only apply for a non-O spouse visa while outside the country. Alternatively, they could return on a 60-day tourist visa and then apply for the marriage visa.

I'm on a spouse extension at the moment which expires soon . I Cant get a fresh spouse Visa without leaving Thailand. Wont give me one with a current valid extension.
I have to disagree on this. I came in on a tourist visa, and changed to a Non O spouse visa in Mae Sai. I was advised to do it this way, and it worked out fine.
