One is the common direct deposit from Bangkok Bank NYC to local branch. Always shows as an IFT (international fund transfer) in my passbook. No problem there.
The other half of my income is a pension deposited to a US bank and then drawn out by using a debit card here at Bangkok Bank. It is then immediately deposited by me into Bangkok Bank. Bangkok Bank says they won’t issue a letter for this second income source.
15 years ago, I had to personally turn it in to the Labor Department for cancellation. It was hole-punched and given back to me. Still have it.
Fast-forward 15 years: Last September, I tried to do the same thing. The department official called my employer on the spot and chewed them out for not taking it at the end of my employment. I had to take it back to them and HOPE they followed through.
