On a retirement visa here. Question about the 800k (400k for married) account.
Can I use an existing Thai bank account for this (It’s a personal expense account with many withdrawals and deposits in a month) as long as I keep the balance above the minimum level?
Or, do I have to open a dedicated Thai bank account for this purpose?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question seeks clarity on whether an existing personal Thai bank account can be used to meet the financial requirements of holding a retirement visa, specifically regarding the maintenance of a minimum balance of 800,000 THB (or 400,000 THB for married applicants). It inquires if the account's regular transactions affect its eligibility for this requirement.
