that doesn't always work in Thailand as many government offices have different rules for the same thing, immigration is an example

when I did mine I walked in told them I needed to open an account because I was carrying lots of cash to buy a condo and they opened it immediately I didn’t even need tm30 or residency but I know things are harder now than it was.

I opened my account on visa exempt a few years ago but it has got harder apparently

Fly out get a tr60 visa come back and extend for 30 days there is your 90 days

fly to a nearby country go to embassy apply for TR60 visa then you can extend that 30 days giving you 90 days

they looked for my visa last night when i arrived, i had to show them which one as i have a few glued into my passport, then i got taken away to the fast track area as they didnt understand what the OX visa was and had to get senior Immigration officer to explain what stamp to give me. Some are not very switched so i always check they have stamped me into until 2027

correct and all applications I have done stated as per your passport so no excuse for putting the wrong name. Stuff up, man up and take it on the chin

I used my Australian and did not need it translated to thai also didnt need to take it to the embassy either

not all, my OX visa I don't need re-entry stamp as its multi entry
