 just saying waiting for luggage is same as everyone else. Some in the past thought vip entry ment they get their luggage quicker as well then complained about paying. Mentioned it just incase you were not aware.

 Immigration never been an issue for me and I go every 2 weeks. Customs I just walk straight past never been stopped in 13 years

If you have checked in luggage, you will still have to wait the same time for your luggage as everyone else regardless of paying for vip entry

One would assume you would top up. Data packages dont last forever. Go to who ever you got the sim from and ask them to check it

Go to the thai embassy website in your country and it probably be explained. Travel agents sell plane tickets not visa so i am not surprised they dont know how to get the TR60 visa

 school is correct get TR60 visa before coming then can extend at Immigration for another 30 days gives you 90 days to sort out the Ed visa
