How can I extend my visa while in Chiang Mai before it expires?

Two places to extend in Chiang Mai, immigration near the airport, or immigration at Central Festival Shopping Center. You don't need to change your ticket. Just after your extension expires, step out and back in at a land border

depends on the country you are from. some only get 2 weeks and others 6 month or a year

So what part do you skip? I showed them my old license, handed my residency certificate, did a quick eye color chart, they took my photo I paid a fee and was out of there in 10 minutes
