Sorry, I’m still a bit confused, would I be able to book say a three month Airbnb, whilst applying for the 12 month extension visa, would this satisfy immigration for the retirement visa, or would I need a long term booking? I may move to Pratimnak or Jontiem, once I’ve worked out exactly where I want to live? Thanks Brett

I wasn’t trying to play games, I’m completely straight, I just asked the question if it was possible, that’s all

So that won’t really work as I won’t be living there, and will have my TM30 at an Airbnb, I assume I would not be able to be at a hotel to have my bank account registered? Thanks Brett

Thanks Graham, would I be able to register my Thai bank account at my mates house as he has been there 30 years and will never move, but I will possibly move a few times in Pattaya? Will that affect the retirement visa do you know mate?

Last question from me, when you are applying for a non o Thai visa in your local country, (myself being England), you need to show flights booked which is fine, but will the Thai immigration be happy with an Airbnb booking for a few months and what confirmations will they require, when applying for the non o visa for me in London, or is it worth booking a hotel? Thank you in advance

Out of interest how much is a 90 day non o visa from the Thai embassy in London, I like the idea of doing the groundwork in the UK, then opening the bank account etc when in a Thailand? Thank you in advance
