I got my vaccine at walmart back in April. The guy who gave me the shots said the only record would be the CDC card. Well James Miller mentioned something that prompted me to login to walmart. I could get a printed version of my vaccine shots with a QR code. Also, I could export it into a mobile app called CommonHealth (probably others if there is a common format for the file type).
Sorry I cannot answer the question but would offer a suggestion. I've been reading these Thailand groups for about a year now (have been back once and will return soon). The one thing I have come to believe is to buy my insurance from a person and not a company. Robert Jackson is an agent for AXA who has been very active in groups and helped a lot of people. Arawan Namak is an agent for many companies and has been noted for being helpful. I would look for an agent and describe my situation and expect them ask more questions and then offer suggestions. You do not pay more when using an agent.
I too had a LOT of trouble with this. I ended up paying 700 USD to an agency that specializes in vaccines etc. for people travelling abroad. They gave me a whole bunch of tests and in about 3 weeks they returned it to me signed with all the official stuff. Perhaps try a place which has health professionals but is not just a standard medical practice.
I think it's a good question. I think it could possibly be one of those things that no one thought about when they wrote up the rules. Hopefully someone replies with a better comment than mine.
I wonder if the question is if the RT-PCR test from Russia will be accepted (given it meets all other requirements) or the OP is thinking they must have one from Turkey given the transit time in Turkey.
I like that. Plan for the worst. But ask yourself, your ticket is 30 days out. Who can predict what will be open or closed then. I bought a ticket back in September from Albania to Portugal. What I "read at the time" indicated that I could make the trip. I later read something else that worried me. I went to the airport in Tirana to speak to the Lufthansa check-in people. I asked if they would refuse me boarding to Portugal Sunday. They said they could not say what would happen Sunday. They also looked at me like I was crazy. So I said, if I flew today, would I be refused boarding. They said they would consult Timatic and see. They said I could board and they said they saw no problems for Sunday but could not promise. BTW, it was a one-way ticket to Portugal and I had no onward ticket and no one asked. Immigration did ask the purpose of my visit and I told them I was doing research on countries to retire to. They liked that answer.
If you are worried then buy the onward ticket. If you fear that might be refused for some reason (never heard of that though) then buy a ticket direct from an airline company. Money removed fear. Early this year I got 3 covid tests because I feared if I got one I might NOT get the results back in time. As it was I got all back in time. But doing 3 bought me peace of mind. I went to Thailand on TR but my return flight was 89 days out. Earlier this year I went to Brazil on a one way ticket but I bought an onward ticket. At the Delta check-in the person asked when I was returning. I started to fumble for my ownard ticket and the person just said to give them the date and the airline company I was flying on. Immigration in Brazil asked how long I was staying and I said I wasn't sure but probably less than 90 days and they gave me 90 days.
