Guys. Question about long transit on the way to SANDBOX . Someone know if I can go out from transit in Istanbul ( Moskow-Istanbul 19 hours -Phuket ) and then can board without problem with my PRC test from Russia?

I fly with Turkish Airlines

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question pertains to the feasibility of exiting the transit area in Istanbul during a 19-hour layover for a flight to Phuket, Thailand under the Sandbox scheme. Several comments highlight that if the traveler leaves the transit area and clears immigration, it could complicate their entry process. There are also concerns about whether an RT-PCR test from Russia would be accepted or if a new test from Turkey is required due to the long layover. Ultimately, for travel to Thailand's Sandbox, entering through Bangkok and completing the arrival protocol there is suggested.

I wonder if the question is if the RT-PCR test from Russia will be accepted (given it meets all other requirements) or the OP is thinking they must have one from Turkey given the transit time in Turkey.

I think it's a good question. I think it could possibly be one of those things that no one thought about when they wrote up the rules. Hopefully someone replies with a better comment than mine.

If you leave the transit area and go through that country's immigration control, with entrance and exit stamps, you'll be in trouble.

Suggest you land in Bangkok do your arrival scheme there, then get to Phuket. You cannot transit Bangkok to Phuket for sandbox or test and go.

suggest you stop using quarantine and sandbox together. They are 2 different schemes. If you are vaccinated you can do 7 day sandbox, otherwise you do 10 day quarantine.
