This question has been asked several times before, and I think that we are still waiting for the first one to report a successful application of this kind.
Not sure wether it's true, but did read somewhere that foreign embassies and consulates were recently connected to the immigration IT system. Might become a gamechanger in the future?
Are you completely sure that Thai immigration doesn't have an IT system where they can see your previous entries even when you are using a new different passport. They have your picture and fingerprints in the system, haven't they?
I know it doesn't help now .... but when you next time decide to come to Thailand with the intention to stay here as a tourist as long as possible ..... be smart and enter Thailand with a 60 days tourist visa ....
Best advice now, go and visit the neighbouring countries which are as beautiful as Thailand and you will get a new visa exemption every time you come back to Thailand.
