My departure is in early April, so it’s within the first 90 days of my Non-O. And please correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t departing the country on an international flight, and then returning, nullify the date of the first 90 day check in, and then move it to 90 days from the date, you arrive back in Thailand?
Thanks Ellie… I’ll be embarking on that very mission, once I get my new passport back from the US Embassy. Hopefully that process is not too complicated!
Oh, ok… so they can’t transfer my Non O one year retirement visa, from my old passport to my new passport, at the immigration office??… Only upon re-entering Thailand with the immigration officer at entry?
Again, my plan is to transfer the new 1 year Non O retirement visa, which I will get in my current passport that is almost full. And if I can also transfer the multiple entry stamp I was planning on getting with it, then I will also obtain that stamp, in my old passport.
Then I would have plenty of time here in Thailand (1 year) to get a new passport, and then transfer both the visa and the multi entry stamp over to the new passport.
