Correction is the 30 days visa exempt I would use when I first arrive.

Afraid the house sale could take longer , I sold mine and my husbands and although his went smoothly it was nearer 4 months for him . Mine turned into 6 months and a hernia . As they had problems getting their mortgage , so make sure you get an estate agent who definitely makes sure the buyer has a firm offer from the mortgage company . Both were first time buyers .

The other obstacle will be finding accommodation that will take dogs , as generally a lot of rental property doesn’t accept pets . Plus you have to organise the shipping over . I hope someone who has done this can give advice .

Have you also decided which visa you are going to apply for ?

We are moving over but I’m aiming for May , without a house sale or dogs . I have organised passports and getting visas sorted at the minute .

I would be planning more once I had a definite ok on the house sale . It’s one of the most biggest stresses of your life and lawyers and banks don’t help the situation.
