I never forget when my friend told the story about the Soi girl in Bangkok was walking up and down a bar with her phone all day trying to organise her nightmare as all 5 supportive “boyfriends” was coming to Bangkok same time. . Yes you are correct. The 90 day reporting we are exempt from. And TM30 needs of course to be filed by the “property” owner etc.. FYI, only option for a non-B extension 3 month was at the time in september a medical extension, work Permit ot actually also a Smart visa. For the sake of my medical extension I did mine in Khon Kaen, and it was unfortunately a legit one. I do believe it could be a valid advice to check in at temporary hotel residence in a place where the hassle of bureaucracy is less.. and that’s the advice I followed successfully. The doctor in Chang Wattana even gave me advice how to get it, the same day the extended the amnesty to September.. I’m just trying to help out with my experience and advice. I can share you my non-b extension if wanted. And the requirements, like eg. Taking a picture with today’s newspaper from a hospital bed with staff, send someone to immigration on your behalf. Not easy but doable..

Can I ask, coz I think I’m in same situation like you .. I assume your 1-year multiple entry is valid for 3 month multiple entry and you need a new 1 year renewal outside.. ? Is that right ? FYI, i got a 3 month medical extension previously in September! Only option for me and possible. And secondly. I have so far been unsure about TM30 for Non-B. Please report if this is a necessity now. Finally. It might help take a quick hotel stay out of Bangkok . And then apply locally there.. I had a tough time first with Chang Wattana. So did in Khon Khaen instead

Paul Durkan bullshit. Period.. according to Bank of Thailand law, everyone can open a bank account, but they impose different practices to make it difficult in some branches. Ask them to call their English hotline .. they can explain . Bangkok bank have that.

will do. Expect conflicting answers though .. but the 90-day is mostly for work permit holder I assume, and not for my cases.. but as I now apply for BoI (Smart S) I don’t want any issues that could block that ..
