As others have said, much easier to do evisa from USA. Banks are then much easier to deal with though some will still deny you until you get your 1st 12 month extension (SCB).

Many DLT"s now have drive through for paying tax. I don't believe the vehicle needs to be present to do so.

I signed up with them about 1 month ago for auto insurance and I just turned 72. However, when I did a quote the month before for motorcycle insurance it told me I didn't qualify.

You will never get her a Visa for USA unless she has extensive foreign travel always returning to TH or a compelling reason to return (good job, family, business ownership, etc).
