abuse is the reason. They're curbing exploitation of the visa exemption scheme and to aline to typical tourist behavior, which is shorter than the initial 60-day period. How many tourists get 60 days vacations? How many tourists need to extend a 60 day visa and then boarder bounce for even more time?

they shluld at least try to get a Yellow Book. I got mine more then a couple decades ago when it wasn't so common and that effort saved me a lot of hassel over the years.

Flew in last night to Don Mueang and heard a Immigration Officer telling a person no more entries without correct visa. Two ladies, Chinese maybe, in front of me were escorted away by IO.

you claimed taxes are on income but taxes are in fact on taxable income. All one needs to do is read the applicable Tax Agreement their country has with Thailand to see what is taxable not all the agreements Thailand has. So easy

some countries tax agreement with Thailand except some types of retirement pay so its not just income in those cases.
