don’t need passport, just name and dob, and as others stated f2f and covid test are separate.

If I’m going to be that paranoid then I’d rather just not travel, I have a smaller card that I use primarily for travel that is very limited and I keep a sharp eye on.

that article and those points aren’t anything new or any sense to call the vaccine useless. Of course the protection isn’t immediate or 100%, that’s the same for every existing vaccine.

After your vaccine is deemed “complete” you are incredibly likely to not get it, and even if you do get it the severity of symptoms are likely to be much lesser.

The fact that it might just turn you into a possible asymptomatic carrier is a bit of a kick in the dick and makes it a lot less attractive for traveling purposes.

proven useless? Maybe the Chinese vaccine was but the pfizer and moderna have proven to be highly effective.

Inter country travel restrictions can change several times a day and you likely won’t know for certain until at best days before

Right now if you travel directly from ASQ you are allowed to go to your destination without issue

I mean that’s pretty relative for everyone, I would take thailand over Colombia 10 times over, but I’m still glad and think it’s worth going there.

It’s a great option for people who don’t want to hassle with thailand right now, that’s for sure

i agree with most of your points, and plenty of people still fighting minimal safety precautions

The US had a Pandemic Response Team, that trump fired in 2018, pretty reasonable that a different president wouldn’t have done the same. He made a bad situation worse, but any president would have still struggled.

I’m in thailand now at least for a few months, but the US is definitely a hot mess.

Colombia is a great country just stay up the news and be smart.

I’m from MA I saw first hand what happened, there was no lockdown before it was too late. We had a completely incompetent president for this problem.
