How many nights do I need to stay in ASQ, and do I need paperwork to travel to Udon Thani afterwards?

I am traveling to Thailand here in 2 weeks and I just had a quick couple questions.

1. For the ASQ is it 14 nights and can leave on the 15th day or is it 15 nights and leave on the 16th day?

2. Once I completed the ASQ do I need any special paperwork to be able to travel up to Udon Thani where my wife and children are?

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers to Thailand need to complete 15 nights in ASQ, counting the day of arrival as day zero. After the ASQ, a certificate is typically provided, which allows travel to other provinces, including Udon Thani. However, inter-provincial travel restrictions may be in place, and it's advisable to check current regulations before traveling.

ASQ is 15 nights. I have no idea why they keep saying it’s 14 days. It’s over 17 days if you counts the day you arrived and leave.

it’s actually 15 nights. The day you arrive is not counted (or day zero). You must stay for 14 24 hour periods so that makes 15 nights and technically 16 days.

The day you arrive is day 0. It’s 14 - 24 hour periods. You are free on the 16th day.

Inter country travel restrictions can change several times a day and you likely won’t know for certain until at best days before

Right now if you travel directly from ASQ you are allowed to go to your destination without issue
