This You tuber had UK insurance from "Postal"

-- He was seriously ill and the insurance did a full evacuation to England with nurses etc.

- paid for everything in Thailand.

I am not from the UK.. but it sounds like good (inexpensive?) insurance.

You don't have to be "retired", but you can't work in Thailand.

South and West facing condos...will use more AC.. North use the least

- Top floor uses more than lower floors.

- Interior condos benefit from their Neighbor's AC / insulation.

-- Some condo owners/ associations MARK UP electricity, water, etc.

*** Always ask the rate before signing a lease. You want to hear " government" rate.

If >50 years of age.. a "retirement" visa is easy to obtain.

- A visa "agent" is worth the expense to process the paperwork .. and set up a thai bank account without the 800,000 ..

-Like you I didnt want stress and a visa agent reduced the stress..

- Ditto on getting a driver's license ( 2.. since motorcycle is seperate)
