well that is also not true. Pretty easy to come now but it just depends if you are vaccinated and how long you want to stay. DO check the embassy website of your country. Dare to google..........

Thai embassy website in The Netherlands now says they will only except Thai insurance but apparently this doesn't go for all countries. I've had a Dutch insurance before and it was valid but I guess they are also keen on getting that money into Thailand.
