If I can get the STV that would be enough time for me in Thailand. We will leave the marriage visa stuff for later then;). I need six months.

hmmmmm good point. And I now also see that they will except proof of monthly income not less then 40k. So with this I would not change the visum but I would an extention, of for instance a TV, based on marriage, is that correct?

thank you for taking the Time Stuart. Im 36 so no retirement for me yet;). Me and my girl are getting married but three months (TV) will be too short to change the visa to a marriage visa. Given that you need a bank account with a lot of money on there for........I thought it was at least 2months. Visa can only be changed until two weeks before the initial ends. So 60 days TV will just be a little to short to do so. If I can even open a bank account. So now trying the STV, emailed the embassy if the contract will be enough (we pay monthly so it might give trouble). Guess Ill otherwise just pay for the 90 days ahead. I do have funds but, not sure how much they ask for the year, we feel its a waste. Rest of the documents I have, medical document is coming. Have my visa appointment in 2.5 weeks so might just decide on what to do last minute. I just want to stay for 6months and spend my hard earned money😭

Yes I know thanks, its a proper pain but I want to see my gf longer then 3months. Going for my 'medical exam' this week, have a long term rental contract with my name on it. It should work, know people who did it this way. But really, why do they make it so hard. If this fails it will be a loss of money and a TV then. Will look for other options then though not sure which.

I need to go to Koh Chang after and domestic flights were cancelled at the time so figured this was the way to go. Maybe the Netherlands will pop up on the new list and I wont have to quarantine at all in a month.......fingers crossed.

no worries:)! This all changes way too fast anyway right. Im working on my STV now from the Netherlands. Fully vaccinated but dont feel like Phuket sandbox and already booked a flight to BKK. Aiming for a quarantine in BKK in whatever way. I dont even know anymore whaha. I dont care that much though, did the 14days. They can lock me up for 7, have to work anyway;).
