I just looked up, it is illegal in most countries to alter your travel document even after use, when it's expired. Passport is a government property and not yours, and you can end up in jail by erasing your travel history.

Soooo, a very bad advice for travellers. If you like to take that risk, it's on you, but please do not advice that to others. Do your research first and see if the consequences is worth the risk.

well if I take the sticker off from my passport it will tear the hole page. And also there are stamps.. so it takes 1,5 page.. Im pretty sure it's illegal to throw out your travel stamps and stickers. It's official proof of your whereabouts.

They take only USD dollars. If you dont have dollars, they ask what ever they want. I gone there thinking i can do exchange in airport, but I couldn't. End up paying 2000 baht too. And their visa takes full page, which means my small passport running out of time quicker. Considering I can't get a new passport in Thailand, it's a very expensive experience. I will never do visa run to Laos. Expensive accommodation too for very low quality private rooms...

When I first came to Thailand, I did not have much saved up. And in that case you can easily live simple life and much cheaper than in Europe (which I also traveled before).

The cheapest rooms in South of Thailand are:

Rent: 4000 baht/ a month + bills around 1000 baht

Bike rent: 2000 baht/ a month

Fuel: 150 baht a week

Food: 60-80 baht a meal for thai food

Many things are for free like hiking, views, snorkeling, swimming so you still can have fun without big spending.

Diving courses is one of the cheapest in the world too.

So minimum 15-20k baht, more if you want to live with higher standards, eat better, buy a bike to save money on rent, have excursions, diving, drinks at night.

i travelled back in July. And I have lived here for 5 years. Visa exempt is exactly the same process as before covid called “visa on arrival”...

Well then go with thai insurance, just in case. That will work no matter what..

no, no, it’s for everyone. I have many people from my country now approved with insurances and most of them are going for “visa on arrival” (what ever it’s called now “exempt”) which means visa they get on arrival. I think they all get STV 🙂

that has been corrected and confirmed that any insurance not only Thai is allowed. Check

yes but before you apply for Coe, you applied for visa. Those are two different processes. TR have nothing to do with Sandbox or quarantine in Bangkok because you can also get visa and use it in 3 months time like before. You just putting all paperwork as one big process together. And sure, you need all documents eventually.

But if he starts with what he needs and add other things later it could save himself money if there is a delay or cancellation each one of the steps..

It’s 3x more expensive to come to Thailand now than before covid. (Been coming for last 5 years on different kinds of visas) So it is worth to be cautious, read every line two or three times before applying. Specially now when things are changing by day..
