You should consider applying for the DTV visa for medical reasons — for both your own and your daughter’s long-term healthcare treatment. It’s better to get a letter from a hospital stating that the treatment is required over an extended period and that your daughter needs to be cared for by an elder, such as her mother. Once your DTV is approved, you can apply for your daughter as a dependent. Just a suggestion — hope everything is okay.
